Project
Create a branding system for a non-profit organization raising funds for green spaces.
Outcome
A Splash of Green is an annual week-long event at the UCLA Botanical Garden promoting green spaces and mental health. Attendees can explore the garden, enjoy a curated café, and join hands-on activities like painting. All proceeds support the creation and expansion of green spaces.
Using the highlighted green, I created a branding that incorporated bold styles and family friendly design.

Research
Key Words: nature, green, open, bold
I followed a style that felt bold and minimal, yet had a big impact.
In addition, I followed a clean alignment style with some playfulness.
Body copy to be implemented in physical forms like the booklet, brochure, and promotion.
I decided to go with a superfamily that included both serifs and sans serifs for contrast.
I wanted the display typeface to be big and bold, which landed me on Benton Sans Black.
With final decisions, these were incorporated in the collateral and branding style.
